Elmer A. IRONS, who has been critically ill for several weeks at his home on East Howard Street died on Friday night. Funeral services on Monday afternoon at the Methodist Church were in charge of Rev UG Leazenby of South Bend, assisted by Rev LP Green and Guy Tremaine. Pall bearers and singers were from his former home neighborhood. Honorary pall bearers were AC Evans; CR Hostetler; Frank Brown and Elmer Reiter. Burial at Waynetown Cemetery. Mr. Irons was born near Waynetown 1872 and has spent all his life in this county with the exception of a few years in Bellmore. He is survived by the widow and 3 children: Mrs. Roscoe STOUT of Waynetown; Robert Karl Irons aof Logansport and Mrs. Russell Rice of Bellmore. He was a member of the Methodist Church. - kbz
